Genesis 32:28 says: "And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed."
What does that mean?
In Genesis 32, even though Jacob has received a promise from God he and his family are going to encounter his brother whom he wronged many years before. Jacob is going to the meeting with gifts and a small group and Esau is going to the meeting with 400 men: a small army. Jacob is afraid and cries out to God. And then a fight broke out that took all night! Andrew and Robert discuss this in episode 165 of True Wisdom.
